Red Balloon

Whenever I'm sick I always try to dress the opposite to how I feel. Therefore colours were the main aim of the fashion game today! The Clear Moodys are the ultimate glasses to wear when you just don't want to show the world how tired you are. As per usual with the UNIF moto jackets I sized up to a L and it fits perfectly. Their muslce tee's I usually go with XS or S but these just run pretty darn small. It's a tie dye neoprene and is just awesome in keeping in the warmth.
Note on the Vapour Backpack - although the colours are gorgeous and it's the perfect addition to a colourful outfit - the way in which it cinches to close is an absolute pain in the ass! it comes undone pretty easily so I have to tie a knot/bow to prevent it opening. Whilst it works - it does damage the clear plastic/fabric of the drawstring.

Crystal Power #2

Continuing my ever growing collection of crystals here are the most recent purchases from both Daisy's Girl and Clair De Lune.

From Daisy's Girl;

These pieces range from $20-$35 in price and the crystals are of a very high quality. The setting particularly for the small topaz is to just die for! The top left was a pretty limited one so I'm glad i managed to nab one. The photo doesn't do justice to just how truly gorgeous it is and the wire wrapping work is top notch.

   From Clair De Lune;

Clair de Lune is based up in Queensland and the pieces are quite gorgeous. The Amethyst is a raw cut pendant and each is unique. Out of the three Amethysts that I own this one is particularly more cloudy. Just as gorgeous as the others, I find this one less dainty and more easy to stack with other necklaces. The raw quartz drop pendant is similar in it's clarity to the Amethyst however, i like this one as it's longer and thinner and great as the larger out of a few pieces I wear it with.

Crystal Power

Recently I've found and been followed by a few small boutique brands on Instagram who create gorgeous and unique jewellery with naturally formed crystals.
I've never really considered myself as a person to wear big chunky style pieces of jewellery as I usually go for dainty small delicate silver pieces. However, after purchasing a few items from both of these online stores I have indeed found a new love.

Daisy's Girl is a Sydney based label.
The girl just has a knack at choosing the right crystals for her pieces and the fittings are just gorgggg
Shipping is 5-10 working days via Parcel Post within Aus. You can choose between Suede cord or a Silver necklace for most items depending on your preference.

These are my current pieces and I plan to add many more!

From left to right we have a Quartz, Opallite and an Amethyst.

This Amethyst piece just really drew me in. My birthstone is Amethyst and this piece also happens to vaguely look like an actual heart shape. The detailed work to attach the stone to make it a pendant is amazingly well done.

you can see the detailed work especially with this wire-wrapped piece. Freaking Stunning!!

This gorgeous Opallite is hard to photograph well. The pendant style is gorgggg and she has many other stones in this shape as well! The Opallite in natural sunlight can reflect some gorgeous colours as well. Ugh - just amazeballs

winter is coming

Tonight was a mixture of warmth and mixing it up a bit.
I always find a good double breasted coat a good addition over a warm sweater when it's coming into winter, cuts out the icy wind.
Wearing my hellbounds out 'n' about for the first time was also a good experience, comfy and I love how they elongate your legs.

Cannot wait to bring out half my wardrobe this season as I've been collecting a big amount of wintery things from the US.

Jacket: Valleygirl
Sweater: Kurt Sweater by UNIF
Leggings: Her Pony
Shoes: Hellbounds by UNIF
Necklace: Daisys Girl

I love how the Kurt sweater perfectly compliments the zip detail on the back of the leggings.

Lingerie

Being a part of the itty bitty titty club you have the luxury of purchasing cute dainty bras and bralettes without needing to worry about support. It's all about the cute!

I've recently been researching and purchasing from boutique lingerie labels based in Australia and New Zealand.

These include;
Hopeless
Hatsumi's Laundry
Lonely
Christie Nicole
Her Pony

        Hopeless

Hopeless Lingerie is based in melbourne and all hand sewn and created to order. I absolutely love this brand and just feel so sexy in the things she creates.
Pros: Australian made, amazing quality and fabrics and the owner is such a lovely girl!
Cons: because she's picking up momentum globally the wait can be rather long...up to 8 weeks. However SO worth the wait <3

(side note on stitching that's visible in image 1 - was drunkely out and pulled retardedly hard on the stitching and popped a few out - my dodgy skills trying to fix it on a sewing machine are visible haha)

Hatsumi's Laundry
Hatsumi's Laundry is also based in Melbourne (must be something in the water!) My collection of her products is growing rapidly and for good reason. Her gorgeous creations are sexy, cute and beyond comfortable! The white cloud chamber bralette as pictured below was my first piece and omg, the love for it!
Pros: Great quality, Made in Australia and very quick delivery
Cons: The products are on limited runs - so once it's gone, it is gone sister! so you have to jump in         whilst you can!

Lonely
Lonely is a company based in New Zealand which i only discovered maybe a month ago. With many gorgeous products designs and range of colours it's something i'll definitely be investing more money into!
Pros: It's in NZD therefore a bit cheaper over here in Aus, quality is outstanding, even though i have zero boobs i feel so secure and comfortable due to the 5 clips at the back (as pictured) and the packaging is super cute!
Cons: The only con i've found so far is that the strap material for the underbust likes to catch fluff. I mistakenly wore a jumper just over it and it covered it in maroon fluff so i was bummed - it has come off but kinda still there :/

 Christie Nicole

This brand i haven't researched a lot as of yet, but the brand comes out with some very gorgeous bralettes.
Pros: Australian Made and the quality is top notch
Cons: This bralette in particular has a leather underbust and it does not stretch at all. Therefore as it is a smidge too small i can't wear it as it wont expand with me. :( This isn't to say her other bralettes don't as I have no clue - i'm just saying that this particular one has no room for being 1cm past the sizing reccomendation.

Her Pony
Her Pony again based in Melbourne is a gorgeous boutique with a wide variety of clothing. My favvie is the yellow daisy print bralette so cute and gorgeous on! When they released the pink I just had to have it :3
the first image is a much more delicate lace pattern which sits very well on a small bust.
Pros: Great fabrics and well stitched, very reasonable pricing (avg $20-$30 AUD)
Cons: I haven't found any cons with the pieces whatsoever - if anything it's a con that she hasn't released matching panties to go with them!

I hope you all go out and have a good look through these brands online and purchase your own gorgeous handmade lingerie. I recommend browsing through bigcartel for lingerie shops as this is how I find most of my lingerie these days
